Liverpool fell to a second successive Premier League defeat as they were beaten 2-1 at home a week after a surprise 1-0 loss at Nottingham Forest.
England right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold admits that "something's not going right" with Liverpool this season after they suffered their fourth loss in the English top-flight on Saturday night.
Jurgen Klopp's Reds were eager to return to winning ways in the Premier League after their dominant 3-0 win against Ajax in the Champions League on Wednesday, but they fell to a 2-1 loss to Leeds United at Anfield.
The Merseyside club started the match against the West Yorkshire club poorly and were a goal down in the fourth minute after a poor back pass from Joe Gomez was pounced on by Rodrigo, who calmly tapped the ball into an open net.
The goal sparked life into Liverpool as they responded, and levelled the score ten minutes later as forward Mohamed Salah finished off a superb cross from left-back Andy Robertson.
Both sides created chances in what was an enthralling match, with Leeds' Brenden Aaronson hitting the woodwork and goalkeeper Illan Meslier making spectacular saves to deny striker Darwin Nunez and Roberto Firmino.
And the moment came in the 89th minute when Crysencio Summerville got the ball off Patrick Bamford and put in a low shot that went past goalkeeper Alisson Becker, sending The Whites' away fans into rhapsody and handing the home fans a feeling of misery.
As things stand, Liverpool are ninth in the league standings, 16 points behind leaders Arsenal, who beat Nottingham Forest on Sunday, while Leeds move up to 15th, four points behind Klopp's side.
'As a team something's not going right.'
"Clearly as a team something's not going right," he told Liverpoolfc.com. "It's not going as well as we want it to go.
"That's something for everyone to think about, for everyone to address and make sure we put it right, especially next week against Spurs, top-four rivals.
"We kind of need to go there and get some points if we've got any chance of reaching our aims and aspirations for the season."
'No time to breathe.'
Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson told Sky Sports: "We have to think a lot about what we did wrong tonight. The two goals we conceded we shouldn't concede. I should have saved the second goal.
"We had opportunities up front. We are really disappointed with this result.
"This is the Premier League. We don't have time to breathe. We have to fight game after game. When you have bad results at home when you need points it's frustrating but we cannot allow having that frustration in the next game."
