Postecoglou has been tasked with improving Tottenham's style of play and position in the Premier League.
New Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou has revealed that he is eager to bring success to the north London club as he begins his era at the helm with the Lilywhites.
Postecoglou, 57, began his first day as Tottenham manager when he arrived at the club's training base yesterday.
Tottenham finished the 2022-23 Premier League campaign in the eighth spot, missing out on Europe's elite football this coming season.
However, Postecoglou, who succeeds Antonio Conte, has faith that he will improve Tottenham's football style with more creativity and aggression.
Postecoglou's squad has been strengthened with the signings of James Maddison [$45m] from Leicester and Italian goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario. The club have also secured Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus on a permanent deal.
'I love to win, mate, that's the main thing. I have done that wherever I have been. So, the football is designed to bring success,' he said as the Mail quoted.
'Alongside that, it's really important to me that there is an element of something most fans and most players want to be associated with. It's football that is exciting, that people talk about.
'It's not just the end result but the manner in which you play your football and that is really important to me because I think it's a way of being successful and secondly it allows people to grab onto those things that are most special about our game.
'It's what I try to provide. You never get it right in all aspects but the basis of it will be we want to be a team that wins things but ultimately also entertain the fans.
'We've got six weeks to prepare these guys so come the first weekend of Premier League football, we're ready to go.'
