Antonio Conte has urged the players to bounce back from Thursday's Europa Conference League defeat to NS Mura and “give more” when they travel to Burnley.

The Lilywhites head to Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon as they look to build on last weekend's home win over Leeds in the Premier League.

“For us, it’s an important game – like (against Mura) – because it was an important game,” the Italian said on Thursday as the club's official website quoted.

“Now we have two days to recover and to prepare for the game against Burnley and for sure we have to give more in all aspects – tactical aspects, physical aspects, and also mentally. We need to give more.

“I know very well what kind of game we expect against Burnley.

“Burnley is a tough game, they play with intensity, they put pressure on, they play a lot of long balls and they are very good in set-pieces, so we have to pay great attention. But in this moment, we all have to think that we have to give more.”

“Before a game, you have to know everything about your opponent,” he added. “We are studying Burnley.

“They are working with a really good manager for many, many years, and this is important for them. I know the atmosphere will be hot, but we must be ready, ready to fight, and to give everything to try to get the three points.”
