Zinchenko will soon become an Arsenal player after the Gunners agreed a deal for the Ukraine international.
Zinchenko is to leave the Man City camp to link up with the Gunners to sort the formalities of a medical and sign paperwork.
Arsenal Football Club have agreed a reported £32m deal with Premier League champions Manchester City for Ukraine left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko.
According to Sky Sports, the north London club will pay Man City £30m up front with £2m in add-ons for the Zinchenko.
It is believed the 25-year-old will leave City's pre-season training camp to link up with Arsenal [who are also in the USA on their pre-season tour] to sort out the formalities of a medical, sign paperwork, and resume training with Mikel Arteta's team.
Midfielder Rodri: We're happy for Zinchenko
Rodri has lauded 'great teammate' Zinchenko ahead of his expected move to the Emirates.
"He’s been great as a team-mate, and player," the Spanish midfielder Rodri said.
"He deserved the best and we are going to miss him, but this is football, it continues and new players come in – we are happy for him.”
All things going well, Zinchenko will be Arsenal's fifth summer signing after the acquisition of Gabriel Jesus, Fabio Vieira, Matt Turner, and Marquinhos.
