Barca Run Riot Over Real Madrid in El Clásico

Barcelona delivered a thrilling 4-0 masterclass over Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu, storming through their rivals in a second-half blitz that left the home crowd of 78,192 in stunned silence.

The intense first half saw both sides grapple for control, with Madrid briefly creating chances, but Barcelona’s composed defence and pressing kept them at bay.

The game’s turning point arrived in the 54th minute when Robert Lewandowski struck first, slotting home from a pinpoint pass by Marc Casadó, sparking jubilation on the Barcelona bench.

Just two minutes later, Lewandowski struck again, latching onto a fast break and smashing the ball into the net off Alejandro Balde's assist, leaving Real’s defence reeling.

Barcelona’s relentless attack didn’t stop there. Lamine Yamal joined the fray in the 77th minute, picking up speed down the right, weaving past Madrid’s defence, and powering a low shot past the keeper.

Raphinha added the final blow in the 84th minute, cutting in from the left and curling the ball beautifully into the top corner, capping off the night with Barcelona’s fourth after a clever feed from Iñigo Martínez.

Real Madrid, stunned by Barcelona’s sharp counters and pinpoint finishing, struggled to mount a meaningful comeback. Despite efforts from Modric and Vinicius Jr. to create chances, Madrid’s attack fell flat, failing to challenge Barcelona’s dominant rhythm.

This El Clásico will be remembered as a statement game, with Barcelona asserting their strength as they march confidently in the 2024-25 La Liga title race.
