Willian's time at Chelsea has come to an end after seven years at the Stamford Bridge club.
The 32-year-old confirmed his departure on Instagram with an open letter after his contract with the west London side expired.
The open letter to Chelsea fans read: "The time has now come to move on.
"I leave with my head held high, safe in the knowledge that I won things here, and always did my best in a Chelsea shirt."
According to reports, Arsenal are favourites to sign the winger, who made 339 appearances for the Blues.
"There were so many happy times, some sad, there were trophies and it was always very intense," he added.
