Sterling has agreed personal terms on a five-year contract with the option of a further 12 months.
Chelsea FC have agreed to a £47.5m fee with Premier League champions Manchester City to secure the services of England international Raheem Sterling.
The ex-Liverpool star Sterling has agreed personal terms with the West London Blues and is expected to undergo a medical in the next few days.
According to reports, the 27-year-old has been Thomas Tuchel's main target, and with the forward entering the final year of his contract at the Etihad, City were not going to stand in his way for more playing time elsewhere, instead, they are grateful for the services he provided.
Sterling joined City from Liverpool back in July 2015 for a reported fee of £49m and went on to win four Premier League titles, one FA Cup, and three League Cups, scoring 131 goals in 339 appearances for the Cityzens.
