Chelsea’s Champions League win over Serie A club AC Milan means Graham Potter's unbeaten start as Chelsea manager continues.
Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount admitted that he is 'feeling good and enjoying' how the Blues are playing after they thrashed AC Milan 2-0 in the Champions League at the San Siro.
Graham Potter’s Blues relished a comfortable victory over the Italian giants as defender Fikayo Tomori was shown an early red card for pulling Mount in the area, with Jorginho stepping up to calmly convert the penalty in the 21st minute.
And 13 minutes later, striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang finished off an assist from Mount to make it 2-0.
The victory over the Serie champions means the west London club currently top Group E of Europe’s elite competition and continues Potter’s unbeaten run as Chelsea boss, winning four and drawing one in five matches.
Mount 'Hopefully, next, I get a goal.'
Speaking to BT Sport after the clash, Chelsea ace Mount admitted that he looking to get on the scoresheet soon.
"I feel good,” the 23-year-old said. “I'm enjoying it and we’re playing well and scoring goals. Hopefully, next, I get a goal. It’s been coming but I haven't finished it off yet. I’ll take the assists, setting up goals for my teammates."
When asked what it felt like playing under Potter, the English man replied: "It's been brilliant. You can see the way we’ve played. We're an attacking threat going forward and solid at the back. We’re obviously going in the right direction and I hope it continues."
On what Potter has changed with him, he answered: "Not too much, just trying to get in the box and connect midfield to the strikers and be free. It's been happening for me in the last couple of games - I want more."
