Chelsea Secure Neto Deal, Spurs Close In on Solanke Transfer

Chelsea Agree Deal for Wolves Winger Neto, While Spurs Set to Land Solanke

Chelsea have finalised an agreement to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto for €63 million (£54 million), pushing their summer spending beyond £200 million.

After initially having two bids rejected, Chelsea secured a deal with Wolves, which includes €3 million in add-ons. Neto, who has made 135 appearances and scored 14 goals since joining Wolves in 2019, will undergo a medical before completing the move.

This transfer will mark Wolves' record sale if confirmed, surpassing Ruben Neves' £47 million transfer to Saudi club Al-Hilal.

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on a deal for Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke. Reports indicate that Bournemouth have agreed to sell Solanke for a club-record fee of £55 million rising to £60 million.

While talks between the Lilywhites and the Cherries are ongoing to finalise the transfer, personal terms have already been agreed upon, with the 26-year-old striker eager to complete the move.

Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou is focused on strengthening his squad following Harry Kane's departure last summer. However, he stresses that the goal is to find the right players for the team rather than directly replacing Kane.
