Christian Eriksen: There's a big chance of winning a trophy at Inter Milan.

Updated: Feb 18, 2020

Inter's prospect of winning silverware was key to his January move.

Christian Eriksen is convinced his new side Inter Milan are capable of winning more trophies than Tottenham.

The Dane, whose contract was due to expire in the summer, joined the Serie A giant in the January transfer window for a reported fee of £16.9m and signed a four-and-a-half-year contract at the San Siro.

While speaking to Sky in Italy, the 27-year-old revealed Inter's chances of winning trophies was a key factor in his move to the Nerazzurri.

"There's a big chance of winning a trophy here or a bigger chance than where I was of course," Eriksen told Sky in Italy.

"The Champions League final was a very bad day, we lost which you don't want to remember.

"I'm here to win and start something new. The last time I won something was at Ajax so it's many years ago. I still remember the feeling so I want to achieve it here as well."
