United fell to a 1-0 defeat at home to Arsenal on Sunday
Leboeuf criticises Solskjaer, urging the United boss to drop Pogba.
Former Chelsea defender Frank Leboeuf says midfielder Paul Pogba is giving Ole Gunnar Solskjaer "a real problem" at Manchester United.
The former France international Leboeuf believes the United manager does not know the solution to the problem his side is facing after their below-par display on Sunday saw them lose 1-0 to Arsenal in the Premier League.
Pogba returned to the starting line up in a 4-4-2 diamond formation yesterday evening but, he struggled to keep up with the Gunners dominance as he drifted from central midfield to the left flank when Solskjaer changed the system that was not working during the game.
The Les Bleus ace was also at fault for conceding a penalty as he brought down Spanish right-back Hector Bellerin, handing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang the opportunity to score the winning goal.
The former Chelsea central defender told ESPN FC: "I don’t know if there is any explanation [for United’s poor form]. It was a random win against Leipzig and a lucky one.
"What we have seen in the Premier League is not good enough from Manchester United. The level drops dramatically.
"It seems to be a real problem. He [Pogba] is causing problems in the middle of the park where he doesn’t defend. He’s like a double with [Bruno] Fernandes so it’s a real problem.
"You cannot count on him to defend and to even have a tactic. You have to let him be free and have tactics for the other players."
