Seedorf questions Eden Hazard's motivation to be one of the world's best players in the world.
Former Ajax, Real Madrid, and AC Milan star Clarence Seedorf has always said Belgium forward Eden Hazard can be up there with the best players in the world.
But, the former Netherlands international says the question the Los Blancos star should be asking himself if he is motivated enough to be amongst the best.
Hazard, 29, left Premier League club Chelsea in 2019 to Join LaLiga giants Real Madrid in a deal worth €150m but hasn’t been able to replicate the form he had at Stamford Bridge, with injuries blighting his impact at the Santiago Bernabeu.
"I have always said that Hazard can be up there [with the best players in the world]," the Dutchman told Goal. "But it's about are you motivated to be the best?
"So, it's about the consistency which Messi and Ronaldo have shown. Cristiano has shown all the players that they can be consistent over the years at that level and that's a mentality thing, that's a motivation and drive that champions have."
