Foden pleased he is 'performing quite well'.
Man City responded in style at Vicarage Road after the FA Cup defeat to Arsenal at Wembley.
Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden said it is good to be back on track after they beat Watford 4-0 at Vicarage Road.
Pep Guardiola's Citizens bounced back to winning ways against the Hornets on Tuesday night after exiting the FA Cup over the weekend.
Goals from Phil Foden, Aymeric Laporte, and a brace from England winger Raheem Sterling was enough for the Etihad club to secure three points on the day.
Man City goalscorer Foden said as BBC Sport reported: "We weren’t ourselves against Arsenal. The energy wasn’t there and that was disappointing but it’s good to be back on track tonight. We were back to being ourselves.
"Raheem [Sterling] is always in the right place at the right time. He has scored a lot of goals and is really enjoying his football. I’m sure he’ll be thinking about it [the Golden Boot].
"I feel good at the moment and I’m performing quite well. But I’ve got a long way to go to be a regular starter."
On Manchester City's final game of the season, against Norwich on Sunday, which will be David Silva's last league match for the Manchester club, Foden said: "It would be special for me to finish alongside David on Sunday. He’s a legend for the club and has done a lot for us."
In Foden's 16 starts in all competitions for Manchester City in 2019-20, he has been directly involved in 14 goals (six goals and eight assists).
