Foden says there's more to come from himself and Haaland.

Man City stars Foden and Haaland are building a great partnership at the Etihad.

England international Phil Foden has admitted he is looking forward to a great partnership with Erling Haaland, adding that 'there's a lot more we can do and build on' at Manchester City.

The pair both scored hat-tricks in the Manchester derby as the Cityzens thrashed a hapless Manchester United side 6-3 at the Etihad on Sunday.

Haaland assisted Foden twice and the midfielder admits that he is in awe of how good the Norwegian has been since joining Pep Guardiola's side in the summer.

"He's showing there's more to his [Haaland's] game," the 22-year-old said as Man City's official website stated.

"His link-up play and even assists - he found me for two of the goals today.

"What's crazy is he's only been here for a short time and there's a lot more we can do and build on. Hopefully, we can continue to get better."

Foden, who is now the youngest Man City player to score a hat-trick in the Manchester Derby, said of the win over their rivals: "It's a dream come true, playing in the Manchester Derby being a City fan.

"Our determination from kick-off was right at it, and we finished our chances."
