Lukaku returned to Chelsea last summer in a £97.5million move.
The Belgian striker said he was ‘not happy’ with his place in the Chelsea first-team during an interview at Stamford Bridge.
Former Chelsea FC winger Pat Nevin has lambasted Romelu Lukaku for his unexpected and surprising interview with Sky Italia, saying the striker is 'just another player'.
According to widespread reports, Lukaku has been neglected and won’t be part of the squad that will be playing against Liverpool on Sunday because of the interview that saw him expressing his disappointment at Stamford Bridge.
The big Belgian also revealed his willingness to return to Serie A club Inter Milan in the future.

Speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, Nevin, who played for the Blues between 1983-1988 said of the 28-year-old: ‘Some of the phrases from the interview really jumped out, such as, 'You've really changed the style, the system'... what? Where? I've not seen it. It's 3-4-3 or a 3-4-1-2 and that's how Chelsea have played under Thomas Tuchel the entire time.
’If Romelu Lukaku wants Chelsea to change to suit him, that's not great news for them seen as they won the Champions League without him.
‘He's not creating or scoring as many goals as Reece James is, by the way. I know he cost a lot of money, but he's just another player.'
