German playmaker Ozil will always fit into any system the Arsenal boss Arteta uses.
There’s always a place for the quality of Mesut Ozil in Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal team, the Spaniard confirmed.
Midfield maestro Ozil possesses qualities that cannot be ignored by Arsenal boss Arteta.
Ozil featured in all of Arsenal's games under Arteta prior to the Premier League suspension due to the coronavirus pandemic but hasn’t played any game since the English top flight resumed.
A back injury kept the German playmaker out of Arsenal’s FA Cup quarter-final victory over Sheffield United last weekend and their recent 4-0 against the Norwich City on Wednesday.
Arteta used a 3-4-3 formation in their most recent Premier League win at the Emirates and sees Ozil as a vital part of his plans going forward.
"I think players can adapt to different systems and we can adapt systems for different players," said Arteta as The Sun quoted.
"Sometimes it's not just about what we want to play or how we want to play. Sometimes we have to try to fit the players we have available in the right moments in the right positions to perform and be comfortable on the pitch to do what we require them to do.
"There's always a place for a player of his [Ozil's] quality."
