Former England international Hargreaves urges Man Utd to sign two players from Premier League top-four rivals.
It is believed that Solskjaer has big plans for the summer transfer window.
Manchester United could make a few signings in the summer transfer window but former England defensive midfielder Hargreaves doesn’t think Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has too much work to do in terms of spotting those targets.
The former Man United, Man City, and Bayern Munich star reckons the Old Trafford club should look to their top-four rivals in the Premier League and decide which players to sign.
According to widespread reports, there are two positions Solskjaer is keen to improve and they are centre-back and the defensive midfield.
All in all, Hargreaves can see the likes of West Ham’s Declan Rice and Leicester’s Wesley Fofana improving Solskjaer‘s squad.
While Speaking to Premier League Productions, football pundit Julien Laurens said United should sign Rice to replace Scott Mcominay and Hargreaves added: "I’m with Jules.
"I think Rice’s upside is off the charts. He has the potential to be anything and a lot better. I think he plays within himself at West Ham.
"People don’t realise how big he is. He’s 6’3, so he looks like a centre back but he’s actually really good technically.
"I’m not a big fan of players who just play in there and pass it around, you have to stop players too.
"Declan Rice doesn’t have to dictate the game for Manchester United, he can pass to the players who can make the difference and be good defensively."
When quizzed who else his former side should sign, he said: "I’d love to see Manchester United get Fofana. He’s a Ferrari, honestly. I’d throw whatever they’ve got left in the bank to get him. He’s a fabulous player."
According to the Mirror Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ed Woodward are formalising transfer plans ahead of the window opening at the end of the season.
Several players have been linked with a move to Old Trafford including Sevilla’s Jules Kounde, Villarreal’s ace Pau Torres and AC Milan star Franck Kessie.
