Harry Kane keen to avoid "regrets" as he begins Bayern Munich career.

Updated: Aug 14, 2023

Striker Harry Kane has expressed his intention to avoid any "regrets" as he embarks on his journey with Bayern Munich, stating, "I didn't want to get to the end of my career with regrets at not experiencing different leagues and cultures."

After his departure from Tottenham Hotspur, the 30-year-old England captain joined the German champions for an initial 100 million euros (£86 million) following his 19-year tenure with the English club.

Reflecting on the move, Kane said, "I spent my whole career in England and the Premier League, so it may take a bit of adapting to get used to a new league."

He also acknowledged the challenges that lie ahead, adding, "There are some great teams in this league and it is going to be a real challenge."

Kane's family have been supportive of his decision, and he believes it's "the best decision."

Despite making his Bayern debut in a 3-0 loss to RB Leipzig in the German Super Cup, Kane remains optimistic, saying, "For me, it is about settling in, getting as comfortable as possible and understanding the different teams and how I need to adapt."
