It is believed Real Madrid see Rennes midfielder Camavinga as a perfect back up for Casemiro.
Rennes president Nicolas Holveck has quashed rumours linking Eduardo Camavinga with a move to Spanish club Real Madrid.
According to widespread reports, Los Blancos are looking to secure the services of the 17-year-old, who they believe will be a perfect back-up for Casemiro.
But, Holveck insists Rennes are not willing to let Camavinga, who is contracted until 2022, leave in the next transfer window.
"For Eduardo Camavinga, the project is to continue to progress at Stade Rennais," he told RTL.
"The next season should be that of the consecration in Rennes for him."
Holveck added: "Very sincerely, yes, the project next season will be with Eduardo."
Camavinga made 36 appearances in all competitions for the French club this season, scoring once.
