Liverpool forward Jota is looking forward to their Champions League match against Real Madrid.
Liverpool's Diogo Jota has issued a rallying cry to his Liverpool teammates, saying “we have to do our job which is to win every single one of our games until the end.”
The Portuguese also revealed that he was pleased he made a difference for the Reds when they played Arsenal on Saturday evening.
Jota came on in the 61st minute and broke the deadlock in the 64th before Mohamed Salah slotted home through the legs of Bernd Leno to make it 2-0 in the 68th minute. And, Jota scored his second goal eight minutes from stoppage time.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the win, Jota who moved to Anfield from Wolves last summer said: "It was very important. I think to think about higher spots in the table, we have to do our job which is to win every single one of our games until the end.
"If we do our job we have a high chance to be there. It's hard to win in the Premier League but today we did our job.
"Sometimes you go a long time without certain types of goals but I was there to make a difference and that is what I try to do always."
On Trent Alexander-Arnold's superb cross for his first goal, he replied: "Unreal. Not just him, we have very good crossers in the team. We need to take advantage of that. Today it worked. It made me a lot easier for me to finish.
"It doesn't matter if you start or are on the bench, you have to be ready to make an impact. That's what I tried to do today and always. I wasn't expecting as much possession from an Arsenal team but in the end we controlled the game with the ball.
"It's another clean sheet which is important as well. Now we have a hard game against Real Madrid too."
