Juve defender Rugani says he's fine after testing positive for coronavirus.

All sporting activities in Italy are suspended until 3 April, with the country in lockdown because of the coronavirus outbreak.

Juventus star Daniele Rugani says he is doing "fine" after tests confirmed the Italy international has contracted coronavirus.


The 25-year-old defender tested positive for COVID-19 but has not displayed any symptoms yet, the Serie A champions confirmed on Wednesday.


According to widespread reports Rugani contracted the virus after Juve's clash with Inter Milan last week.



"You will have read the news and that's why I want to reassure all those who are worrying about me, I'm fine," Rugani wrote via social media.


"I urge everyone to respect the rules, because this virus makes no distinctions! Let's do it for ourselves, for our loved ones and for those around us #thankyou."
