Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has answered questions on Hudson-Odoi's future.
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has poured cold water on reports linking winger Callum Hudson-Odoi's with a loan move to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
The Blues boss said Hudson-Odoi is still part of his plans after the West London club secured a 4-0 Premier League victory over Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.
“Callum is absolutely part of my plans here,” Lampard said. “I’m very pleased with him. By Monday we will know a definitive answer. If they’ve declared their interest then that’s one thing, but everything that happens by Monday will be either things that are firstly good for us as a club.
"Callum’s our player, and also what Callum wants will come into consideration, but it has to be right for everybody. At the minute I want Callum part of my squad.”
Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick had a few words to say about Hudson-Odoi in his pre-match news conference ahead of their clash with Hertha on Sunday.
“I don’t know what will happen. He’s one of the best talents on his position and can play as a winger and even as a striker. That’s why Bayern Munich is thinking about him.”
