Man Utd's Victor Lindelof says the training sessions have "stepped up" since Erik Ten Hag took over the reigns at Old Trafford.
Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof has admitted that he is having a good time in pre-season under new manager Erik Ten Hag.
The Sweden international also revealed that Ten Hag demands a lot from his players as the Dutchman's style of training is different from previous managers at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils have been put through their paces in Bangkok after arriving for the first leg of their pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia, and Ten Hag will take charge of his first game against Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool on Tuesday.
Lindelof: "A lot of hard work and tough sessions."
"It’s been great, with a lot of hard work and tough sessions," Lindelof told Sky Sports News. "Training sessions have been really good, he’s demanded a lot from us. He expects us to perform at the highest level and he’s been great.
"He knows how he wants to play and his style of play with the ball and without the ball. It’s important to have a coach that gets involved and explains in a proper way how he wants things. The training sessions have stepped up.
"He’s great in general. He’s very good at paying attention to the details and details are important in football.
"I’ve seen Ajax play a few times and everyone knows they play good football so of course, it is nice to have him here because we want to play good football as well and play at a high level."
