City have no intention of letting Sane, whose contract ends next summer, leave on the cheap.
Manchester City are keen not to let Leroy Sane leave the club only if their evaluation of the Germany international is met, reports the Daily Telegraph.
The 24-year-old has reportedly rejected a contract extension with the Citizens and manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed the former Schalke winger is set to leave the Etihad Stadium this summer.
Bayern Munich have been constantly linked with Sane for over a year now, but City will only let him leave if the Bundesliga champions come to an agreement with the Premier League side for a prize.
According to reports, the Manchester club May not replace Sane if he eventually leaves because of the financial impact of the coronavirus, and the current crop of players Guardiola has at his disposal, though, they’ve been linked with Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey over a potential end-of-season move to the Etihad.
