Haaland is now the fastest player to reach 20 league goals in the English top flight. Too Easy!
Erling Haaland says he has a set target on the number of goals he wants to score this season but will not reveal it just yet.
The Norwegian striker, who admitted that he is more hungry than ever, scored a double after Rodri broke the deadlock in the Cityzens’ 3-1 win over Leeds United at Elland Road on Wednesday night as he extended his goal tally to 20 in the Premier League, making him the fastest player to reach that mark in the English top flight.
Pascal Struijk did pull one back in the 73rd minute for the hosts but it was nothing more than a consolation goal in a match bossed by Pep Guardiola’s team, and the victory over Jessie Marsh’s Whites moves City back up to second behind the Gunners, two points above third-placed Newcastle.
'Haaland - I have a target but I cannot say'
"I have a target but I cannot say it,” City striker Haaland told Amazon Prime Video about his goal target for his debut season in the England top flight.

"We see Arsenal at the top now and we have to hunt them. For me, as a striker, I have to score more. I could have scored a couple more but that's life and I have to train more.
"I've been at home, a bit mad that I've not been at the World Cup. I recharged my batteries.
"Watching other people score to win games at the World Cup triggered, motivated and irritated me. I'm more hungry and more ready than ever.
On playing at Elland Road in Leeds where he was born, the 22-year-old said: "My father and mother were on the tribune today. It's special. I'm happy - it's a special moment in my career. When I was young, I had an Eirik Bakke shirt in my room and a jersey of my father.
"In my craziest fantasy, I couldn't think of being at Elland Road and scoring for Manchester City against Leeds."
