Manchester City new signing Ruben Dias expressed his delight after making his Premier League debut for the Cityzens on Saturday.
Dias sealed a move from Benfica to the Etihad last week and says he is very happy to be playing in the best league in world football.
Speaking after joining City's 1-1 draw with Leeds United at Elland Road, Dias said as mancity.com quoted: "Very happy for my debut – but obviously not happy at all with result we wanted to win this match so badly.
"But we have to keep improving and working on that victorious mentality. First game and I am really happy with my debut.
"Obviously, it’s just one match but the intensity, the quality of the pitch – it’s the top league."
Pep Guardiola said of the new recruit's performance against Marcelo Bielsa's side: “He made his debut after two training sessions and away at Leeds is not the easiest start - but he was outstanding.
“He gave us a sense of maturity, led the line. We are happy with his performance.”
