Man Utd boss Ten Hag planning with Ronaldo.

Updated: Jul 17, 2022

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag says forward Cristiano Ronaldo is in his plans going forward.

It is believed that Ronaldo is keen to ply his trade elsewhere and according to reports, United are now open to listening to offers for the Portuguese this summer, despite the club's public stance that claims he is not for sale.

The 37-year-old is not part of the Red Devils' squad that is already on tour in Bangkok, Thailand due to "personal issues", and continues to be linked with the likes of Chelsea, Napoli, and Bayern Munich.

"We are planning with Ronaldo for this season - that's it. I'm looking forward to working with him," Ten Hag said as Sky Sports reported.

When quizzed whether Ronaldo wants to leave Old Trafford, Ten Hag replied: "He hasn't told me this. I have read, but as I say, Cristiano is not for sale, he's in our plans and we want to get success together.

"I spoke with him before this issue came up. I had a conversation with

him and had a real good talk."

The 37-year-old forward returned to Old Trafford last summer in a shock switch from Juventus and still has a season remaining on his deal.
