The Portugal international arrived at Old Trafford in January and has scored two goals and registered three assists in five Premier League games.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer praised Bruno Fernandes' all-round performance in Manchester United‘s 2-0 derby win over Manchester City on Sunday.
The Portugal international Fernandes continued his brilliant start to his career at Old Trafford with crafty free-kick that helped Anthony Martial break the deadlock in the Manchester derby before Scott McTominay wrapped up the victory with a late strike.
And, a delighted Solskjaer lauded the 25-year-old midfield maestro after the Red Devils moved within three points of fourth-placed Chelsea.
"He works hard, he's humble enough, he's got the desire, commitment, but he's also got the X-factor," the Man United boss said.
"He's a risk taker, he's got courage, he's brave enough to make mistakes and if you make enough mistakes they'll be corrected into fantastic assists or goals."
The Red Devils are on a 10-game unbeaten run and completed a Premier League double over rivals Man City for the first time in 10 years.
