Man Utd Midfielder Mason Mount Keen To Get Back in the Best Shape and Help The Red Devils
Mason Mount, Manchester United’s midfielder, has encountered a new injury setback that will see him sidelined for up to five weeks.
The 25-year-old picked up a hamstring injury during United’s recent Premier League game against Brighton & Hove Albion, resulting in his substitution at halftime. This was Mount’s third straight start this season for the Red Devils.
In a message to fans via social media, Mount expressed his frustration and disappointment over being ruled out. Despite his hard work during pre-season to get back to full fitness, the injury will force him to miss several upcoming fixtures.
He assured supporters of his commitment to making a strong comeback, stating, "I will do everything possible to be back in the best shape and help the team."
Mount transferred to United from Chelsea in a £60 million deal last summer. His first season at Old Trafford, however, has been disrupted by injuries, limiting him to only 14 league appearances.
The latest setback means he will miss crucial matches, including the opening of United's Europa League campaign next month.
Despite these challenges, Mount is determined to recover fully and make a meaningful contribution to the team’s success upon his return.
