Arteta's side resume their campaign at home to West Ham on Boxing Day
The Gunners hold a five-point advantage over champions Manchester City.
Mikel Arteta wants Arsenal to maintain their Premier League title push following the mid-season six-week break.
Prior to the 2022 Qatar World Cup, the Gunners registered 12, wins, one draw, and a defeat in 14 league matches and are five points clear of champions Manchester City.
They resume the second part of the 2022-23 campaign when they host West Ham, who are 16th in the league, at the Emirates on Monday night.
However, Arteta has issued a rallying cry to his players, asking them to build momentum quickly and pick up from where they left off.
He told the media as the Daily Mail quoted: 'We need to do that on the pitch (build momentum). We have talked a lot about it.
'We know the importance of starting strong and we play at home. It's a very special day in Premier League history, a very special family day to play football, an incredible atmosphere that day and we want to make the most of it.'
When asked what impressed him most during the first half of the season, the Spaniard replied: 'Probably the level that we showed and the consistency we showed within that level, which with the group and the age we have is not easy.
'We showed real maturity in certain moments, especially against big opponents.
'The focus is to play better every single day, to keep growing individually, collectively and to keep deserving to win matches. That is all we can hope because football is a very tricky game.'
