Nemanja Matic Interview reveals his confidence in Solskjear’s leadership.

Manchester United holding midfielder Nemanja Matic has no doubt his club team-mate Marcus Rashford can become one of the elite strikers in world football. The England international Rashford was having an impressive season, scoring 19 goals and registering five assists in 31 appearances, before his form came to a halt due to a back injury [double stress fracture] he sustained in United's 1-0 FA Cup third-round replay win over Wolves in January. With the Premier League set to resume in mid-June due to the coronavirus pandemic, Rashford has redeemed time and should be fit enough to help Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Red Devils fight for a Champions League spot. When Serbia midfielder Matic was quizzed to name Man United's best player this season, the former Chelsea midfielder told the Guardian: "We have a lot of young players, but they have maybe not reached their top yet, but Marcus Rashford has the ability to be one of the best players in the world in his position.

"But I'm very surprised he adapted so quickly to the Premier League. He brings us a lot of qualities, like the confidence he has on the pitch – he always knows what he wants to do with the ball." Matic also said the 20-time champions are improving under manager Solskjaer. He said: "Ole is a great manager. I think he has improved a lot since he came to United, and he is different now. I'm sure he has a great future here, and he will win us trophies."
