Nicolas Jackson Delighted His Brace Helped Chelsea Beat West Ham

Nicolas Jackson Shines as Chelsea Dominate West Ham

Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson expressed his joy after scoring a brace to help Chelsea secure a convincing 3-0 victory over West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Senegalese forward's two early goals and a second-half strike from Cole Palmer handed the Hammers their third consecutive home defeat in the Premier League. Jackson was the standout performer; his pace and finishing proved too much for West Ham’s defence, which struggled with intensity and organization.

Despite a few attempts, including a disallowed goal by Mohammed Kudus, West Ham couldn't find a way through. Chelsea's victory brought them closer to Premier League leaders Manchester City, while West Ham remained near the relegation zone.

Speaking to BBC MOTD, Jackson said: "I try to play for the team every game. I scored two, and I am happy—we won, which is most important.

"We controlled the game early. Keepers usually go one side, so it was a good finish [for his opening goal].

"There's been plenty of talk, and I was injured for two months. Now I’m back fresh, and I hope to get more. I’m trying to work hard and do more than I did last year."
