Switching his focus to the upcoming match against Manchester United, Guardiola was asked about his thoughts on facing goalkeeper Onana, who previously played for Inter Milan in last season's Champions League final against Manchester City. While acknowledging Onana's talents, the Cityzens boss also expressed his hope for a different outcome this time around, when quizzed on whether the Cameroonian will repeat the strong performance he put in playing for Inter Milan in the final of last season's Europe elite competition: "Hopefully not – hopefully we can beat him," Guardiola remarked, underscoring his team's determination to secure a victory. "He is an exceptional player. I think he’s a great keeper."
