Philippe Coutinho Transfer From Barca Is On The Cards.

Attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho would fancy a return move to the Premier League, his agent Kia Joorabchian confirmed.

The former Liverpool midfielder Coutinho was, who had a brilliant spell at Anfield has failed to impress the Barcelona hierarchy since he joined the Catalan club back in January 2018.

Following the 27-year-old's move to the Camp Nou, he was sent on loan to Bayern Munich in August 2019 and has scored eight goals in 22 Bundesliga appearances.

It is believed the German giants have decided not to exercise their option to sign the Brazil playmaker permanently, with several Premier League clubs, including Tottenham, Arsenal reportedly monitoring his situation.

However, Joorabchian says the ex-Inter Milan ace is bracing himself for a return to the English top flight.

"He has a desire to come back to the Premier League at some point," Joorabchian told Sky Sports.

"It may not happen this year, it may happen this year but we don't know. We really have not discussed anything for now."

However, Joorabchian insisted talks of Barca putting a £70million (€78m) price tag on Coutinho, or asking for a £9m (€10m) loan fee, are wide of the mark.

"I've never heard those figures, we've never discussed numbers, none of those figures have ever been discussed," he added.
