Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic was pleased with Chelsea’s 3-0 win against Watford at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Winger Pulisic says he feels confident in his game and believes he can help the west London club reach greater heights.
Pulisic, who has been in fine form following his return from injury, admitted the Blues came out with a lot of energy as they needed a huge result against the Hornets to bounce back to winning ways after their midweek defeat to West Ham.
Goals from Olivier Giroud, Willian, and Ross Barkley sealed three points for Chelsea as their quest to clinch a top-four spot continues.
The US international told Sky Sports: "We needed that one today. We came out with a lot of energy and we needed a huge result, especially after dropping points in the last game. There was a bit of extra energy because of that loss and we wanted to prove a point."
On winning Willian's penalty, the former Dortmund winger said: "I got fouled for the second one as well and I thought it might be overturned but it is what it is. I feel confident in my game right now and I feel like I can help the team."
On comparisons with Eden Hazard, he replied: "Eden was an incredible player for Chelsea and he is world class. I'm not trying to compare to him, I'm just trying to be my own player."
On the race for fourth, the American said: "It's going to be close and come down to the end. We are excited and confident we can do it."
On USA independence day: "If I was home in the US, I would've been having a BBQ with my family."
