Ferran Torres has quickly adapted to life at the Etihad.
Former Manchester City captain Richard Dunne has been impressed with Ferran Torres’ superb start to his career in the English top flight.
Dunne, who plied his trade at the Etihad, is convinced the young Spanish winger has the attributes to become a great player for the Cityzens.
The 20-year-old joined the English giants from LaLiga club Valencia during the summer transfer window and has been a force to be reckoned with, scoring in each of City’s opening three Champions’ League group games.
And, he also registered his first Premier League goal in City’s 5-0 win against Burnley last weekend.
Ferran’s displays have surprised former defender Dunne, who now believes the Spaniard will only get better with time.
“I think there’s been a bit of pressure put on him because of the lack of goals and he’s been the one that’s come in and got them at important times,” Dunne asserted as mancity.com quoted.
“But his development won’t be judged on goals but rather more on assists and how his style and play suit the team.
“He’ll still have time to learn that, but he’s started off brilliantly.
"I think the more he plays, the more confidence he’ll get and the more he’ll understand the whole system.
“He’ll be a great player.”
