Ex-France international Willy Sagnol is convinced PSG star Kylian Mbappe could become the king of the Kop if he decides to join Liverpool.

The 21-year-old forward continues to be linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes, but with the financial impact of the COVID-19 crisis, it’ll be difficult for clubs to sum up the kind of figure that’ll appeal to the French top flight champions.

However, former Bayern Munich and Monaco star is confident Mbappe will become a better player under Reds manager Jurgen Klopp.

More: Liverpool have 'absolutely' no chance of signing Mbappe.

He told Bild: "This club [Liverpool] has a big advantage, as with Jurgen Klopp you have a coach with whom every player in the world would like to work.

"Kylian Mbappe would have to adjust under him as he demands a lot of defensive work from his strikers, which Mbappe is not good at yet.

"But he can learn that, especially from a guy like Klopp. No question, Mbappe could become a king with Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool."
