England international Dele Alli has been linked with a move away from Spurs.

Manager Jose Mourinho believes Dele Alli will still be a Tottenham player when the transfer window closes.

Alli has not been in the Spurs squad for the last two games and has been linked with a move away from the north London side, with Ligue 1 Paris Saint-Germain reportedly interested in his services.

Mourinho, however, confirmed the 24-year-old will be part of the squad that will travel to North Macedonia for their Europa League third-round qualifying match against Shkendija on Thursday.

"I always told that he will have his opportunities," Mourinho said of Alli's inclusion against Shkendija.

"I always told that it is no problem at all to have him and - like every other player - performances are important.

"He is coming, he has a chance to play and it will be important to play, it will be important for him to perform."
