Defender Trent Alexander-Arnold is enjoying Liverpool's packed schedule.
Right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold is pleased with how he is flourishing despite Liverpool's relentless fixture schedule.
The Reds' Champions League clash against Atalanta BC at the Gewiss Stadium in Italy tonight will be their sixth match in 17 days, with a trip to the Etihad on Sunday to face Manchester City before the November international break.
However, the England defender Alexander-Arnold – who has been involved in all of Liverpool's matches this season is enjoying the challenge of a congested fixture list.
“For me personally, I enjoy the fact of playing three games a week,” the 22-year-old told Liverpoolfc.com.
“The games coming thick and fast, when you’ve got momentum there’s nothing better. It’s tough physically to obviously recover quickly but that’s part of the job and I think we’re all used to it now.
“We’ve been doing it for about three years now, playing so many games, the relentless fixtures. Obviously, the last year, on the whole, has been strange for everyone so it’s a little bit different to normal, but the fact of still trying to recover and making sure that you’re ready physically and mentally for games is still the same.
“We go through the same routines and make sure we’re ready as a team and individually.”
