Wan-Bissaka was surplus to requirements at Man United last summer, but ahead of the January transfer window, he has reminded Ten Hag and fans of his potential.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka still has a future at Old Trafford, according to Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag.
With Diogo Dalot yet to return from the hamstring injury that blighted his involvement with Portugal in the Qatar 2022 World Cup, Wan-Bissaka has been involved in every United match since the season resumed, and the 25-year-old has been impressive.
The United right-back Wan-Bissaka, who signed from Crystal Palace for £50million in 2019, had been linked with a move away from the club, but Ten Hag quashed those reports by insisting the defender has a chance to revive his career at the Theatre of Dreams. "First you have to be on the pitch and the first half of the season he was either injured or ill, so he didn't have a role in the squad," he said.
"So I think the break was good for him. He returned, he was in the training camp in Spain and could play some games in preparation of the restart and now he's playing two games and he's doing really well, so I'm happy with his performance. But we need competition in the squad."
