The acquisition of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund would be an important addition to the Red Devils, says Wes Brown.

Wes Brown is convinced Jadon Sancho will be a great addition to Manchester United.

The Red Devils are favourites to secure the services of the England international this summer, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer keen to strengthen his side ahead of the 2020-21 campaign after their struggles to secure a top-four position last term.

Despite the ongoing speculation about the winger's future, the Bundesliga club continue to insist they are not willing to listen to offers for their starman.

However, former Red Brown says United need reinforcements in various areas of the pitch at Old Trafford.

“It would be excellent if United got Sancho,” Brown told Sky Sports News. “We’ve got some young, exciting attacking players but Sancho would be another layer of the cake.

“He’s exciting, he’s young, he can score goals and is good with assists. If they can get that done it would be perfect.

"United can always improve. The defence, midfield; the more competition going on all over the field, the better the team becomes.”
